Anyone who would like to be able to help someone in cardiac arrest or have a duty to respond to a first aid incident over the age of 14 years

What our syllabus covers
This course should ideally be used as an add on to an FAW or EFAW course but can be a stand alone module
- How to manage a unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
- How to manage an unconscious casualty who is not breathing normally
- Recognise the need issues need to be considered when using an AED
- Use an AED in a prompt, safe and effective way
Is there an exam?
Assessment is completed via observation during the course and a short multi choice question paper
