Mental Health and Wellbeing in the workplace Courses

Different from other courses, this gives you the knowledge, tools and skills to identify when people are struggling with their wellbeing at work, how to recognise when a person may be unwell with mental health illness and how to confidently support them during this time. We hope that by the end of this course you will be an ambassador for mental health and wellbeing in your workplace.

First Aid at Work

Anyone over the age of 16 who needs to become a qualified First Aider in the workplace.

This course is designed for a workplace which has been risk assessed as higher risk in the First aid needs assessment.

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, place a general duty on Employers to ensure that there is adequate First Aid provision for their Employees should they become ill or suffer injury at work. This course is designed to meet these requirements.

First Aid at Work - Requalification

Anyone who needs to renew their First Aid at Work qualification. You will have already held your FAW certificate for nearly three years and will need to produce your current certificate before attending this course.

The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, place a general duty on Employers to ensure that there is adequate First Aid provision for their Employees should they become ill or suffer injury at work. This course is designed to meet these requirements.

Emergency First Aid at Work

Anyone who needs to become a qualified First Aider in the workplace but this course is also great for anyone with a interest in First Aid and would like to get a good grounding in the subject.

This course is designed for workplace which has been risk assessed as a lower risk in the First aid needs assessment.

Paediatric First Aid

This one-day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course has been designed for those who have an interest in child and infant basic life support.

Our courses meet all OFSTED / EYFS requirements and provide learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively when it really matters.

Anyone who works in or would like to work in the child care industry.

Annual Training Updates

Anyone who has successfully completed a First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work course. This session should be attended on an annual basis around the anniversary of your qualifictaion date. This is not compulsory but “strongly recommended” by the HSE

First Aid for Children and Families

Anyone who would like to know how to recognise when a child or baby is unwell and how to help them. Parents to be, Mums, Dads, Grandparents, baby sitters, carers, anyone interested in basic First Aid for children and babies.

Flat Stan
Essential Life Skills for Children

The Flat Stan First Aid work shops have been specifically designed for children aged 4 yrs to 11yrs.

The aim of the work shop is to teach our younger children vital and essential life skills.  These skills are delivered in an enriching and fun way with participation encouraged although it is not essential.

The work shops will provide the children with the skills and knowledge to recognise a variety of first aid situations and how to deal with them and summons help.

The workshops are intended to be fun and enriching for both the children and the trainer.
