Flat Stan
Who’s this course for?
The Flat Stan First Aid work shops have been specifically designed for children aged 4 yrs to 11yrs.
The aim of the work shop is to teach our younger children vital and essential life skills. These skills are delivered in an enriching and fun way with participation encouraged although it is not essential.
The work shops will provide the children with the skills and knowledge to recognise a variety of first aid situations and how to deal with them and summons help.
The workshops are intended to be fun and enriching for both the children and the trainer.
Key Facts
Duration: The work shops are approximately 75 minutes in duration including an awards ceremony.
Teaching first aid meets a range of National Curriculum requirements including early learning goals, key stage 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The theory of how to deliver chest compressions using the Flat Stan manikins.
How to deal with burns.
How to deal with a bleeding casualty.
How to deal with a nose bleed.
Have fun with bandages and slings.
